The weaning has started with varying degrees of success. This was the aftermath of the carrot experiment!! We hope that some of it actually made it into Leo's "little" tummy but judging by the amount of carrot he seems to be wearing it is hard to tell. He does seem to like toast though, typical!
There seems to be lots of pictures of Leo chilling on his own on the blog so we thought we would post one of him with his favourite person, Gramps!
Leo and Gramps certainly have a mutual appreciation club going on and Leo can't wait for Gramps to teach him how to use a few power tools and cook up a storm in the kitchen.
We have always thought Gramps and Nanna Anna were the best thing since sliced bread so we are chuffed that Leo agrees!
Leo thinks his Gramps is just the best!! He bought him a fantastic baby swing for the garden. Unfortunately due to the terrible weather at the moment Leo has had to practise in the kitchen but he still loves it.
Leo also asked me to say thanks to his best friend Freya for letting him have a go in her swing and convincing Mummy that he needed one too!
We haven't started weaning Leo properly yet but I have begun the pureeing process in preparation. On Saturday morning I decided to try Leo with a spoonful of parsnip which I was making........check out his reaction to the first mouthful! Let's just hope we haven't got another Paul on our hands. Baked beans anybody?!?!?
Leo now has now moved into the big bed in the spare room. As a 17.12 pound monster he needs the extra room just for his gorgeous chunk thighs. Here he is in the morning, just woken up, waiting for his cup of tea!
Here's a very rare picture of all three of us together. We had a brilliant Father's Day, drove to London, walked through Hyde Park and had a big browse round Selfridges. Finished off with a gorgeous burger in Frankie Dettori's restaurant, yummy.
Here he is trying to get to grips with a slice of yummy red pepper. He is so inquisitive with food these days he just loves to have a good gumming with anything.
After a few hours at the beach it was strangely "Mythos Time" for Daddy which looked like cold, amber coloured milk with a frothy head. Mummy was left holding the baby as usual.
Here I am in one of my wife-beater vests. All I need now is my Newcastle footie shirt and i'll be a proper Brit-abroad.
I just loved bobbing around in my yellow floatie in the hotel pool. The water wasn't as warm as I'm used to in the bath but I got used to it after a few taster dips in the shallow end.
Here is the magical view of the sunset from our balcony in Santorini. The Caldera was visited by lots of big and small cruise ships every day with visitors from around the world.
A slightly strange order but Mummy and Daddy thought we should post some pictures of my first trip abroad to Greece a couple of weeks ago.
Here is me on the cobbled streets of Santorini! The papoose was the only way to travel unless the oldies carried the buggy. I did develop a strange fondness for the cobbles and often fell asleep when we were exploring despite the jiggling around!
Check me out......I can sit on my own! On the same day as I rolled from back to front, Mummy discovered that I could also sit up and not topple straight over.
I am now ready to munch away. Here's me at the dining table waiting for some grub!
Today I had some mushy banana, my first big kid food ever. Mummy and Daddy were so excited until I got greedy and vomited some back up (no pictures included!).
Check me out in my Tripp Trapp highchair. The time has come for me to get a spot at the family dining table.
Better cover up the house with plastic sheets.......Mummy and Daddy have no idea what they have let themselves in for!! Food is going to be splattered everywhere!
