To top off a truly fantastic day we headed off to spend some time with Freya, Laura and Steve and their families. Leo and Freya not only share kisses, bibs and toys (sometimes!) but also their birthday!

Gramps helped Leo blow out the candle on his very first birthday cake. He wasn't very fussed about trying any cake though, think our little man hasn't inherited his Mummy's sweet tooth!

We bought Leo a trike for his birthday and it was definitely a hit!

It's Australia Day and.......

...........Wow.......look Mummy, I have got a birthday parcel from Lily in Oz! Thanks for all my great presents, Lily, Steph and Tony. I especially love my picture which I spent ages pointing and talking to this morning.

One today!

Whilst we shed a tear or two about our little baby hitting his first birthday, Leo had a complete ball! He loved opening his presents, having lunch at the pub with family and then joining his best friend Freya as she also celebrated her 1st birthday.

Thanks for all the presents and cards everybody.

Captain Leo Sparrow...

We had a great naming day for Leo although because it was so hectic we didn't get to take any pictures. Hopefuly we should have some soon from one of our friends or family who came along to celebrate our little man.

He loved having everybody here and was so exhausted at bedtime he was asleep before we could even zip up his sleeping bag. We, meanwhile, kept the party going downstairs and enjoyed tucking into Leo's pirate cake!

Leo loves it when Freya comes to play! Leo (although it was slightly encouraged by the parents!) decided to take Freya for a spin on his walker whilst, slightly strangely, patting her on the head.
